Oh, sup? I'm in Uganda.

Oh, sup? I’m almost 20 and a half. I guess I’ve officially hit that old woman age that it’s appropriate to blog. SORRY. That was a big, fat stereotype. I’m just saying that blogging is a big step for me. Can we all respect that? Good! So look out to my BlogSpotering competition?…Chanel Barnes is coming in large and in charge from Uganda. What the heck am I doing in Uganda?

I’m going to work as a non-profit journalist for a jewelry company called 1,000 Shillings. So I'll probably be posting some of my articles if you wanna take a looky. Anyway, the company, 1,000 Shillings, works with Ugandan women by making jewelry and scarves to sell. And you guys, these products are pretty snazzy, let me tell you. The proceeds of this company go to feed these families and send the children of these women to school. So basically, this is an amazing organization that could use your support. If I haven’t sold you yet, then just keep reading up on my blog and I’ll getcha feeling generous by the end.  Just, pretty please, if you have any humanity in you, take a look at our website. 1000shillings.com

Well, I’m gonna go kick it with some Ugandans. So yeah…I don’t know how you bloggers end blogs? First blog over and out? Thanks guys.

Best and more,
Chanel

Oh, just some pics from the first week. The dried out fish is to die for. No but seriously, you'd probably die.
